Free Visitor Counters Help Blogging Efforts – Lessons Learned 5

I’m amazed at the amount of visitors a beginning blogger can reach in a short time with minimal posts and little social bookmarking activity. Imagine the visitor traffic you’ll get when blog post and social networking efforts increase!!!

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

My free visitor counters show that:

  • Popular Blog Hosting Platforms Bring Lots of Visitors1962 people visited my combined blogs at WordPress.com and Podbean.com.
  • Increasing my Social Bookmark Activity and Memberships will Increase My Web Traffic!  See Lesson Learned #1   for my best practices on social networking.
  • Poetry is more popular than Pictures. Songs of Love and Dance  is in ‘the top 50 Poetry blogs’ on NetworkBlogs, and has 1 comment and 1 subscriber. [264 all-time visitors]
  • Home, Welcome, and About are Top pages.
  • ‘Public Access USA’ links (Government websites) get clicked more than ‘My Favorite Bloggers’ links.

Free visitor counters tell a story. . . People visit my site because:

  7. BRAND BUILDING  I joined the Seeded Buzz. [8 visitors from SB]

How do I know these 7 things influence my visitor statistics?

When I compiled all the visitor data from my Wordpress.com Site Stats, from my Twitter account using TwitterCounter (it’s free), and from my Podbean.com visitor statistics, a distinct trend appeared.

The result showed highest visitor activity in these seven areas with number one and two having the most influence (hits), number three having the next highest influence and so on.

These free visitor counter tools are a big help because I can use the information to further share my social networking  journey.

Thank you for commenting…and so quickly. This is a perfect example of why I love WordPress and how it influences our visitor stats. Within 7 minutes of publishing, a fellow wordpress user visited my site and left a comment. How cool is that?!
